About Custom Car Wash & Detail Center

Custom Car Wash & Detail Center is a car wash in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 2802 Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602, which places it among the local businesses of Altoona that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Altoona, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Pennsylvania, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (814) 201-2277. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Its Google rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 54 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

I take my car to this place and this place only... They go above and beyond just cleaning and washing it. It looks brand new, smells brand new and the price is pretty cheap for the work they do. The best thing about the whole experience is that it lasts a week or two. The car looks brand new for that long. I highly recommend this place

Not sure what I paid for. Interior not well cleaned and rags used left streaks all over the hood and near windows. Incredibly disappointed for the price of a $40 car wash.

We were in and out quickly and were given a gold cleaning for the price of the silver.. which was nice. Very friendly staff and manager. Just wish they would have cleaned the back seats because that was one of the main reasons we went to get the car detailed.

I paid for the 40 dollar was. They charged man extra 10 for a little dirt I had in my wheel well. Gave them a 25% tip and literally had the worst service I've ever had in any state. I travel all over the country for work an this was by far my worst experience. The outside isn't clean they didn't remove tar like they said was included, guys wiped inside of my windows and that's it. Left dirt sand and hair all over the inside. I paid 65 for literally nothing. I could go through a 15 dollar car wash and get a better wash. We were going to have a fleet of trucks from work come here to get washed and detailed. Would absolutely not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Absolutely terrible work.

Owner is a hustler. No time for BS. I respect that. Clean water, fast service. Vacuumed perfectly. car looks great. Workers are fast and hustling too. Get the monthly subscription. Better value than $15 every week for a wash. For $30 you get it washed daily if you like.
